Overview

This course is ideal for those delegates who have been tasked with either managing Display Screen Equipment (DSE) in their workplace or with undertaking DSE assessments. This is a one day programme that really aims to highlight how to meet your legal requirements.

This one day programme is ideal as refresher training.

Aim

The aim of this course is make delegates aware of the legal requirements surrounding the use of Display Screens in the workplace, the health effects, and how to complete a workstation assessment for users

Objectives

By the end of this course trainees will be able to;

• Understand why we manage DSE hazards in the workplace.
• Understand the basic legal requirements under the Health and Safety at Work ACT 1974
• Understand the legal requirements under the DSE Regulations
• Understand the health risks linked to DSE use.
• Complete a workstation assessment.
