Overview

This course is designed to highlight the requirements under the COSHH regulations, the dangers of hazardous substances and bring to the attention of employees the importance of compliance with any controls that have been implemented.

Aim

The aim of this course is make delegates aware of the requirements of the COSHH regulations and associated health affects from substances hazardous to health.

Objectives

By the end of this course trainees will be able to;

• Understand why we manage substances hazardous to health
• Understand the basic legal requirements under COSHH Regulations
• Understand some of the associated documentation such as Safety Data Sheets.
• Understand a range of health effects linked to substances hazardous to health
