Overview

This course is ideal for those candidates who need to either be able to review existing fire arrangements, carry out fire risk assessments for low to medium risk environments, or for those that need to better understand their organisations current legal position.

This course can be delivered as either a one day programme, for those delegates that are already confident with the legislation surrounding fire risk assessments, or over 2 days for those that are new to fire risk assessments. 

Aim

This course will aim to deliver the necessary information to allow delegates to undertake Fire Risk Assessments on Low to Medium Risk environments. 

Objectives

At the end of this training delegates should be able to;

• Understand the Legal requirements of the Regulatory Reform Fire Safety Order (RRFSO)
• Understand the importance of fire risk assessments.
• Understand the principles of controlling the risks from fire.
• Understand how a fire risk assessment is undertaken. 
• Undertake a Fire Risk Assessment and record the findings.
